From Devil May Cry Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Summoned Swords are magically generated blades resembling the Force Edge, appearing in Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 3, and Devil May Cry 4.[1] They are wielded by Vergil during Devil May Cry 3, and they reappear during the final battle with his Nelo Angelo form during Devil May Cry.[2][3]

[edit] Trivia

As a boss in Devil May Cry 3, Vergil only uses Summoned Swords in "Dante Must Die" mode.

In Devil May Cry 4, Nero is able to use the Summoned Swords while in Devil Trigger Form, though instead of resembling the Force Edge, they appear to be two-pointed Shaken. As he fires the Blue Rose, the swords will appear around him before skewering the enemy, and when he fires a Charge Shot, many Summoned Swords will attack the same time. Though the Blue Rose cannot be fired during cinematic Busters, Nero can still fire Summoned Swords if in Devil Trigger. Thus, they are quite useful in increasing the damage and style inflicted by a Buster.
