There is a glitch when using the Dreanught Technique, wherein you can retain the form as long as you stay in the same area, and do not switch swords.

Activate the Dreadnaught, then wait.

Right when you change back, change swords (RT for XboX, R2 for PS3)

You will retain the Dreadnaught form, and the altered voice. You will also be able to move freely and take regular damage. This is merely a very cool graphics manipulation glitch.Kale Nekona 19:53, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Increase Defense[]

I have found out that if you equip Gilgamesh, your Blocks from the Royalguard Style will increase in Defense! I have tried this one on Mission 18 where you fight the Savior, equipping the Gilgamesh will boost your defense, and if you block without Gilgamesh, I concluded that the guard will easily break. As in normal perspective right? Dante blocks attacks with his fists, wearing the Gilgamesh will make the fists harder. KevzMarz 07:56, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

KO'd by Royal Guard[]

This is a cool way of exploding your enemies.

In DMC4, choose Dante's super-form. You will have you royal gauge always full. Now, in the normal (or Devil Hunter) mode, you can blast off Scarecrows (Arms and Legs) and Bianco Angelos with a single hit of your Royal Release. To perform it, press <target> + <forwards> + <style-button>.

Glitch response[]

That "Dreadnaught Glitch" at the top of the page works! Can it be added? (and hey, it was put 1 year ago?) KevzMarz 11:02, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

If it really works, then, yeah, sure, add it, it seems to be relevant enough. My signature is NOT short! 13:06, November 30, 2011 (UTC)
